Private Events at Stoke Hole Pottery

The next time your family, group of friends, club, or organization is looking for a unique activity—or a fun place to host a birthday party, bachelorette party, team-building event, Girl or Boy Scout activity, or other celebration—consider a private session at Stoke Hole Pottery!

Choose from Potter’s Wheel, Potter’s Wheel + Hand Building, or Hand Building. We strive to offer a variety of projects that can accommodate different ages and experience levels.

Your finished pieces will be glazed and fired by our instructors and will be ready for pickup in approximately 3 weeks.

Private events are a great way to celebrate, spend time together, and try something new! Whether you're planning a birthday, bachelorette party, scout activity, club outing, team-building event, or simply a fun get-together with friends, we can help create an experience your group will enjoy.

A Few Studio Guidelines

• Food is not provided. You are welcome to bring or order food for your group when your event includes a food break.

• Food space: Tables will be prepared for your group when you are paying for food space.

• Guests & Children’s Parties: Only participants may remain in the studio during the event. For children’s parties, one accompanying adult is permitted and must allow the instructor to lead the class without disruption.

• Cell phones: Please keep cell phone use to a minimum. Phones may be used for pottery inspiration, but we ask that they not be used during the event for general texting, social media, or other non-event activities.

• Pottery: Your instructor will glaze and fire your finished pieces. We will let you know when your pottery is ready for pickup.

1-Hour Event/Party — $25/person

1½-Hour Pottery Wheel Event/Party — $45/person

• Learn the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel

• Learn how to make tumblers, bowls, plates, and dishes

• Choose your favorite shapes and styles to create

• Keep 2 pots

2-Hour Pottery Wheel Event/Party — $50/person

Includes a food break halfway through.

• Spend time throwing on the pottery wheel

• Choose from:

  • Smash Pots

  • Cups

  • Bowls

  • Plates

• Or throw and decorate 2 pots

2-Hour Hand-Building Event/Party — $30/person

Choose from:

• Trinket Dish

• Hand-Built Cup

• Bowl

• Slab Dish

• Little Friends — make 2–3 small pieces

2-Hour Hand-Building Event/Party — $35/person

Includes a food break halfway through.

2½-Hour Event/Party — $40/person

Throw one pot on the wheel + choose a hand-building project from the $30–$35 party options.

Throw two pots + choose a hand-building project.

Approximately 1½ hours will be spent on each activity, with a food break halfway through.
